Upload + proof approval · for Shopify

Their design. Your craft. Clearly approved.

Customers upload artwork on your product page and approve a versioned proof. Every approval stays tied to its order line, so the design you make is the one they said yes to.

For print, stickers, engraving, embroidery, and custom gifts.

The usual way

Artwork shouldn’t live in an inbox.

Most personalized-product shops stitch together an upload app, a proofing app, and a lot of email. The approval ends up in one place and the order in another. Upproof keeps the file, the proof, and the yes on the same order line.

Upload app + email

  • Artwork arrives by email, separate from the order it belongs to.
  • The proof goes out as an attachment. “Looks good!” comes back three replies later.
  • Two orders for the same product, two files, one guess about which is which.
  • A late change, and nobody is sure which version was approved.

With Upproof

  • Customers upload on the product page, and the file follows its order line.
  • They review a private proof page and approve or ask for changes on the same page.
  • Each order line keeps its own design, even on the same variant.
  • Every proof is a numbered version. A new version retires the old approval link.

A clear path to making

Keep the design with the order it belongs to.

01Collect

Artwork, right on your store

Customers upload their design on your product page. Each accepted file set follows its own order line, even when two lines use the same variant.

02Review

One version to agree on

Publish a proof and the production details, then copy the private link into your own message. Customers approve or request changes without an account.

03Make

Check before production

Verify the approved version against the current order and stored files. Prepare a production card, then track the job through completion.

Built around real shop work

A revision should bring clarity.

Every proof keeps its own image and production details. A new version replaces the previous approval link, so an old “yes” can’t approve new work. If the order changes, re-check it and get the updated work reviewed before making it.

The initial storefront setup supports Online Store 2.0 product pages using the standard product → cart → checkout path. Quick-buy, quick-add, and other checkout paths can bypass uploads. Missing files stay visible as “Source needed” in your workspace.

Room to start. Room to grow.

Pay for new proof jobs, not revisions.

One credit covers the first successfully published proof for one order line. Uploads, failed submissions, and revisions use no extra credits, so a customer who needs three rounds costs you the same as one who approves the first.

Paid signup opens after Shopify billing is configured and verified. Allowances reset on the first day of each UTC calendar month, separately from billing dates. At the limit, existing proof jobs and revisions remain usable; publishing the first proof for another order line needs more allowance.

All tiers use the same file limits: PNG, JPEG, or PDF; up to 20 MiB per file, 5 files and 50 MiB per upload set. Separate store storage limits also apply. A printable production card needs a PNG or JPEG proof.
